3 sms, 2 gifts, a couple of handshakes and greetings + an afternoon movie

that's how i spent the day turning 22.

it then occured to me that i didn't eat my mee suah (with 2 eggs) that my grandma would cook on my lunar birthday (which was 2 weeks ago). i got mom to ask her cook for me, since i missed eating it then. it's a must that i have to eat, cuz i've been eating it since young! i feel weird giving it a miss.

it's also my grandma's "tradition" that after eating it, i would have to pick 4 numbers using the chopsticks. she would then go buy the number.

shortly after dinner, the call i was longing for came. it was the call from melbourne!! my uncle wished me happy birthday, followed by fiefie, and then andrea. fiefie didn't want to speak me but my sister. i didn't get to speak to my auntie too. =( but anyway, really appreciate my god-parents making the call just to wish their god-daughter happy birthday.


dear God, thank you for giving me another year to live. thank you for my wonder, beautiful family and also i thank you for the people you have blessed me with. i pray that Lord, as i grow another year older, You will make me wiser and let me know You more. i pray that God, You will help me be a more responsible, mature adult. thank You again. amen.
