i saved a kitten from roaming in the dangerous car park. found a box and put that poor fella inside and put the box above low ground. i didn't want it to get out of the box and let it walk freely in the car park again. cars don't give a damn about what's underneath. it probably would just get crushed to death by any oncoming cars. and it is so tiny that, it may not know how to react.

i hope it is still save and sound. i would have brought it home if i could. on the other hand, i didn't want to cuz the mother cat could be just somewhere. i'd rather leave it behind and hopefully they can somehow find each other.

now i would like to complain about the cleaners at TAMPINES BLK 139 ROUND MARKET.
one of the cleaners doesn't seem to like her job very much. she doesn't give a damn about the people sitting next to the food disposal area. a bucket with food remains, she just overturned and dumped it. BUT some of the "juice" were poured out of the dispose area, thus dirtying the floor. and so the same cleaner was washing the floor, she just splashed the water from outside in. and there was an umbrella (belonging to a friend) which was left hanging on the waste disposal thingie, and they left it on the floor. without checking, she just started splashing the water to wash the floor. it was such a hard splash that the water hit the shoes of some sitting next to it.

i thought to myself - why can't she be more considerate? i didn't like the way she worked. i was quite determined to wait for her to appear again so that i could confront her and tell her off about what she was doing. she didn't, and she was lucky. i so would have raised my voice and told her off. if i'd really had done it and she found it offensive, then i'm sorry. i may sound as though i want to pick a fight, but that's how i talk and deal with people like this.

if i were to see her again, she'd better watch out.

clumsy hands and butter fingers

bought a new earring today and got home to try it while watching tv. with a slip of the fingers, one side of the screw dropped on the floor and went missing!!

how brilliant i am, right?! one screw is lost even before i wore it.

*sigh*

and so, my cable programmes are back after a loooonnng time. my dad didn't re-activate it until now because there was no EPL season to watch. how sickening that he would subscribe it for himself to watch soccer matches, depriving me of my AXN, Star World, Discovery channels.

and yes, the cable box is in the living room, but the channels always on are MEDIACORPSE channels which can be viewed for free in the other room. subscribing cable is to watch programmes can't be found on the free to air channels! so let me watch what i want to watch!

if only i can get myself a tv set for the room and have my own cable box which i will gladly pay for it.

yes, the cable channels are back, but i have no more interest in watching cuz i have lost touch with what's showing and what's not.

life is now sitting in front of "The One", facebook-ing, msn-ing, blogging.

*sigh*

excitement of ping pong

rrright... watching live results on the the web of the tables tennis match Singapore played against Korea yesterday afternoon was also a "kan cheong" one. lolz... if i was in front of the tv watching it, i think i would have been jumping up and down my seat and screaming over it.

i'm so not gonna miss the 'live' telecast of tomorrow's final against China. i don't think any Singaporeans will miss out on watching that. maybe all electronic stores will have their tv sets tuned to the channel for shoppers and staff to watch. lolz...

GO SINGAPORE! Aim for the GOLD...

i must say this.

i know of someone who cried after while watching Wall.E and got laughed by somebody else. *giggles*

why am i saying this is?? because, my mom would remind and laugh at me of how i cried when i watch the 80's movie "Short Circuit". i had thought the Robot No. 5 died, so i cried and wailed saying that it died. lolz...

to think of it, we cried for robots and they are not even real! hahaha!!how silly of we both...

are we really that alike? hahaha... no worries, your remark didn't insult me. i was more surprised.

and oh,

I WANNA COMPLAIN ABOUT MEDIACORP!!!

over TV Mobile this morning, i heard exactly that they will telecast the TABLE TENNIS match between SINGAPORE VS USA. the more i tune in, the more i hear the start siren went off, and WATER SPLASHING! WHERE WAS THE "TICK TOCK" OF TABLE TENNIS BALLS THAT I WANT TO HEAR?!?!?! MEDIACORP YOU GO FLY KITE!! NEVER KEEP PROMISES. WHAT IS SO GREAT ABOUT THE SWIMMING RACES WHEN THERE ARE NO LOCALS IN IT? JUST BECAUSE THE GREAT MICHAEL PHELPS IS IN IT, THUS THE LIVE TELECAST?! OR IS IT BECAUSE WE ARE PLAYING AGAINST A LOUSIER TEAM, AND THE FACT THAT WE WILL WIN THE MATCH, SO NO TELECAST? IT IS SO UNFAIR TO OUR SPORTSMEN AND SPORTSWOMEN. AND SO WHAT THE TABLE TENNIS MATCH WAS SHOWN AFTER THE SWIMMING RACES? CHINA VS CROATIA WAS SHOWING INSTEAD!! IT IS DAMN BULLSHIT THAT WE DO NOT SHOW THE GAMES OUR ATHLETES ARE PLAYING IN. WHAT A SHAME!!!

i am disappointed.

yay! one "to watch" movie off the list. caught "The Mummy" earlier in the evening. i appreciate the CG effects for the movie. and i just love to watch michelle yeoh. i think her spoken english sounds much better than her mandarin. and oh, the 'ang mohs' gave a try at speaking mandarin. totally cannot make, but thankfully there were english subtitles for translation. lolz... and that wilson fella really deserved to die. overall i didn't think that it was as bad as what was reviewed.

i think this will end the O'Connell's adventure with Mummies. they have already wanted to "retire" in the movie. haha!!

and so, i guess the biggest blockbuster that i have not watch is "THE DARK KNIGHT". how can it be?!?! *sobs cries wails*

ok... been MIA for a while over the weekend. haha! but everything was good.

national day games at powerhouse was great, despite the heavy pour just when we were about to BBQ. celebrated birthdays with surprises. heehee...

caught "money no enough" on sunday night with the family. it was a last minute decision to watch and we were seated a the 2nd row from the screen. i did not find it that fantastic though. the computer graphics from the beginning already turned me off as i found it quite ridiculous.

and yesterday, used my $5 voucher for a haircut at toni & guy academy. thumbs up for their customer service as compared to monsoon. next, to try kimage hair school, then decide which i will stick with. an incentive when going to toni & guy is, the good-looking trainer. haha! he is looking for models to let him cut hair. anybody interested, please let me know. eh, interest to cut hair, not him. hahaha!

and so, why am i blogging on a tuesday morning? aren't i suppose to be at work? yup, i will be, but only in the afternoon. how cool is that? lolz...

alritey, time to chill a bit by watching the olympics.

and oh, i love my new hair.

and so i cycled to work today. right now, i'm stuck in the rain.

a "friendly" phone call was made a while ago. and here's how part of the convo went -

Me: Hello?
X: Still in office ah?
Me: Ya, stuck in rain.
X: Why don't cycle back?
Me: How to?! So heavy the rain.
X: *laughs over the phone*
Me: Why laugh? Very funny meh?
X: Sorry, couldn't help it. *laughs some more*

....

yar... very funny hor...

ok so, i just bought front and rear lights for the bike. hurray! next on the list, helmet - for safety precautions.

i am actually in the dilemma whether to get or not to get. see, if i get the helmet, then i can use it while skating and cycling. more so, if i decided to cycle to work, then the more i should get it since i'll be on the roads to get to work. probably try riding to office one of these days and see how. =)

i realized today that, i will not go up and say "hi" to someone whom i happened to meet in the malls or on the streets. why? because i fear the questions asked, like "what you doing here?", "huh? alone?"... etc...

honestly, i would rather know who's around than to let others catch me being alone.

then again, i seriously dislike being alone.

but, do i have a choice?

who wants to hang out with me?
