i was touched by today's sermon. especially when the speaker shared stories of those who are in prison.

can u believe that lives were changed when convicts serve their term in prison? i know and have come across these changed men. and it is true that, they are tough men but they are the sweetest people that you can get to know. and yes, it is a challenge for us, Christians to pray for the inmates in there. May they come to know the Truth and that their old ways will shed and never will look back.

i received an anonymous sms yesterday and replied by asking who it was. though he did not mention his name, but told me he was from Breakthrough, i immediately knew it was Darren. it was really nice to have him send me an encouraging message. it has been quite a long time that i had receive encouraging smses. and coincidentally, the message was shared with something i could relate to - transformed lives of ex-cons. so at the end of the day, i sent a message out to 2 brothers of Breakthrough, telling them about today's speaker and how we should be challenged to pray for the convicts serving their time. i ended my sms by thanking God for their transformed lives. and they replied "Amen" with Luke 22:32 - "But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers."

and coincidentally, Powerhouse+ teaching on Saturday was on the same passage as well. hmmm... i wonder what God has spoke through these 2 times (back to back) the passage was shared?

Deny thyself.
